Monkey Business - An OC story

Greetings all

The Plinker family just returned from an OC event in the northern reaches of PA. At least, it was northern to us. Along with a few others, we celebrated the birthday of one of our own, PA Patriot. I have some pictures, and I am sure there are others extant. Whether or not we see any of them remains to be, uhhh, seen.



Mrs. PA Patriot cobbled together a cake with our hero's image on the top. Well, at least his avatar on the top. Some villain had already sampled the goods with his finger.



A birthday would not be complete without blowing out the candles. A birthday also means something - the subject is one year older.



Old age is creeping up. Diminished capacity is only one sign.



With a little bit of nutrition though, especially that found in this gift, he should be back in fine shape in no time at all.



PA Patriot's influence was felt by all, as evidenced by the number of people hanging from branches in his back yard.



Even the little ones were getting in on the act! Fortunately for this writer, no one had the camera out when I, along with several others were all hanging from the same tree!

The food and fellowship was great, and we look forward to future events of the same caliber. And what caliber was that? Well you will just have to wonder until the next one comes along. Thanks Judy for springing this on Rich, and I hope he has many happy returns of the day!

Fortunately for this writer, no one had the camera out when I, along with several others were all hanging from the same tree!

Pennsy, we should have the brush cleaned up and the last of the wood stacked up in about 30 minutes. Don't worry, Rich said he didn't really like that tree anyhow.
