Ed, you need a lawyer, and you need one right now.

We get a lot of these requests for info and in this case you need a lawyer, anything less is extremely unwise.
I would not be at all surprised if you are told to surrender your guns.

You need to talk to a lawyer that specializes in gun law specifically.
    Don't delay, do it now.

Contact Phil, he is a moderator here and he is very knowledgeable.
He will generally listen to your situation and tell you your options before money gets involved.

You are going to need legal representation at this point to legally unfark what your wife did.

Next you'll need a lawyer for the divorce paperwork as well.

I don't think the OP needs more stress added about how his wife made a mistake, and suggesting that he divorce, even in jest, really isn't that funny and doesn't help.

And after getting that mess cleaned-up, you can talk to the lawyer about going after the doctor and hospital that involuntarily committed you because their service sucked!

You need two attorneys, one for the 302 and one for the DIVORCE!

I second this. I know in a stressful situation like this, my wife would probably do the same; sign where they tell her to and not read any of the fine print. That's just what she does. While it's a big mistake, this is on the hospital for not filing the paperwork correctly. Phil or any other qualified 2A lawyer need to help you fix this!

I guess you missed my warning above.

The next person that mentions divorce gets the hammer.

Yes, I will be pursing legal action against whatever entity filed the paperwork when it was invalid. I was never committed, it was rescinded! Hopefully the PSP can get it rectified before I need to pay for a lawyer.
