Dingmans Shooting Range Pistol Competitions
I heard that the Dingmans Shooting range was doing some indoor pistol matches every other Friday night. I checked the web site but I don't see anything mentioned. Does anyone know the schedule and what the shoot is like?

Re: Dingmans Shooting Range Pistol Competitions
I called them. They said it was speed based against the timer fro draw etc. I was in til they said concealment. Then it's meh to me. I think the next one is dec 2 at 6 or 7 pm. Gonna be tough to get too many people in there and shoot it has to be one at a time. Too small and too noisy to run multiple timers. Could be a good way to beat the winter blues though. I had to call them to get the info

Just out of curiosity why is concealment a deal breaker?

Re: Dingmans Shooting Range Pistol Competitions
I'm not really trying to be around a bunch of people on an indoor range trying to fight a gun out of concealment and get their shots off as fast as possible. I also don't really care about being able to draw from concealment super fast none of my gear except my daily carry stuff is set up for concealment. Which means that I'd probably have to use my plain Jane carryngun instead of one of the trickout out comp guns I have. Just not my thing.

Re: Dingmans Shooting Range Pistol Competitions
So went there today to mess around with a new scope/.22 rifle. Got into talking with one of the employees about the place. Seems the owner is thinking about adding 10 more lanes for handgun at 15yds. Right now they have 6 lanes at 25 yards. Lets see what happens...Now this was from a employee there and hopefully is accurate info.
