Places for transfers
Does anyone know of shops in the York area (I live in Dover) that do internet transfers? I am interested in the SIG P6/P225 that I have seen on the internet and wanted to know who in the area did transfers.
Thanks

Board Member, prices very reasonable, and transfers are cheap.

Also you may try John Shupp @ Shupp's Gunsmithing - Druck Valley Rd in Hellam Twp.
Stubby is an excellent choice as well and he may be a bit closer to you. I have found that the average transfer price is around $20.

Re: Places for transfers
Bob,
I'm also in Dover and I use Morrie Hooper (Hooper Enterprises). He is off of Greenbriar, on Hambiltonian. He charges $15 for a handgun IIRC and $25 for a rifle. I got a SIG P6/225, changed the springs, added night sights, and reblued it. I already have another 9mm with 4 high capacity mags so if you are interested in the P6/225, let me know. I'm also in Dover and I wanted to sell mine so I could buy a Mauser 98k. I'm looking for $300.
If you were to add night sights ($80) and pay shipping, you couldn't get one for that price. Let me know if you are interested and we can go over to Morrie to transfer it properly.
