High Noon Holsters - Split Decision
Well, yes, as much as I like my OCing, there are times I need to conceal. Sometimes I REALLY need to conceal. So for those times, I have been researching and once again I got it right the first time.
This is a glove leather tuckable holster for my Bersa Thunder .380. It was $40 something with shipping and damn it is comfortable, I'm wearing it now here at my Job #2 (The Gym) nobody know's it's on me, except those who know I pack. and it is not visible in the least. Did I mention it's comfortable. I thought I was going to have some issues with IWB Tuckable, all i could think of after I ordered was "I just wasted money, metal + skin = bad" But it's really not. I guess part of it, is the smoothness of the bersa itself.
It does drastically reduce my draw time compared to OCing, but, not much of a difference in comparison to my Don Hume IWB for my XD-45, my shirt holds on a snag but it releases well when pulling with my off hand and the holster holds shape so that the gun releases smoothly and stays open for re-holstering. It also has adjustable tension but leaving it fairly loose works well while being a tuckable.
Finally this holster has very good craftsmanship. it's stitched tight and in the right spaces. Couldn't ask for more.

Re: High Noon Holsters - Split Decision
Is this the holster you got? It is the one that I was going to order after looking and looking.

I plan on ordering one next Friday. I want a tuckable holster myself. I prefer to carry concealed. But I hate the sloppy, shirt hanging out, look that you need to do if you aren't using a tuckable holster. I prefer the tilt on this model. I'll be sure to post my reviews once I get mine, but you already made me feel like I am making a good choice. The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control....

Re: High Noon Holsters - Split Decision
I was looking at another site. And they were talking holsters. It was between the Crossbreed Supertuck and the High Noon Split Decision as to which were the favorite tuckable holsters.
If $$$ is a factor. The High Noon will win. I'm looking forward to getting mine now.The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control....

Re: High Noon Holsters - Split Decision
Thanks Skuggi.
I have been using a Bianchi Model 100 with my PPK/S for at least 5 years and really like it but it is not 'tuckable'. I looked at the Split Decision a few months back when it was talked about in another posting but was afraid that it would be uncomfortable without any backing at the grips. But you say that's not a problem, so you have Sealed the Deal on me ordering one today.
Thanks !
