Re: Hey, everybody, he had a MACHINE GUN ...
I mean, it had the "shoulder thin that goes up," right?
One of the thugs pulls a tech-9 from his waistband and shoves it in the face of a woman working the counter, while another suspect trains a handgun on two other employees.
Back in the early '90's, I owned a couple of different INTRATEC-9 SEMI-AUTOMATIC pistols, although one would HARDLY confuse them for a belt-fed M60 or some such...
The company DID make a full auto version - the KG-99 machine PISTOL - that was for export only, since it came along AFTER the NFA Act of 1986. They were popular with the badguys on "Miami Vice" at that time in television history. I'm unaware though, of any sales to Philadelphia area gangbangaz with Class III dealer licenses, prior to the company being sued out of business by Brady butthole types in 2001.
Maybe the Philly news has a real scoop here, that goes far beyond their penchant for imbedding the latest in pop-up ad technology...

Perhaps it was the TEC-9 missing from the FUBAR closet in the PPD FIU:

TEC-9
KG-99
MP-9
All from the same family, of sorts.
There are registered transferable ones out there. Had one in my hands no more than 6 months ago.
If the one in the video was a "machine gun", im doubting it was legit LOL
More than likely just the semi version, and probably stolen.HGW, llc ~ Title 1 & NFA sales/manufacturing ~ Transfers - Title 1 $20 - NFA $50

Re: Hey, everybody, he had a MACHINE GUN ...
You seem a little bit confused; Let's clear this up:
NFA = National Firearms Act of 1934
GCA = Gun Control Act* of 1968
FOPA = Firearm Owners Protection Act of 1986
The ban on new production of machineguns (actually, all machine guns) came as an amendment to the last of these three, added by William J. Hughes D of NJ, and thus commonly referred to as 'the Hughes amendment.'
*General copy-paste of similarly titled laws enacted by the National Socialist government of Germany in the 1930's
