Police Prepare for Election Day Unrest
SHTF Day may be closer than we think!

Police departments in cities across the country are beefing up their ranks for Election Day, preparing for possible civil unrest and riots after the historic presidential contest.
Public safety officials said in interviews with The Hill that the election, which will end with either the nation’s first black president or its first female vice president, demanded a stronger police presence.
Some worry that if Barack Obama loses and there is suspicion of foul play in the election, violence could ensue in cities with large black populations. Others based the need for enhanced patrols on past riots in urban areas (following professional sports events) and also on Internet rumors.
Democratic strategists and advocates for black voters say they understand officers wanting to keep the peace, but caution that excessive police presence could intimidate voters.
Sen. Obama (Ill.), the Democratic nominee for president, has seen his lead over rival Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) grow in recent weeks, prompting speculation that there could be a violent backlash if he loses unexpectedly.

Re: Police Prepare for Election Day Unrest
How are police departments "beefing up their ranks"? Are they hiring new officers? Are they promoting desk jockeys?
From what I can see, we have way too many police officers, already, because we seem to be able to pull a few off crime fighting duty every day to have them sleep in their cruisers with their lights flashing at every road construction site.Kevin Singleton, Potawatomi - {ZRT - Sector 4}

How about, violence is guaranteed if Obama loses in any way! I have said it before, but it bears repeating, and I am sure I am not the only one who has observed this. Whenever a liberal wins an election, the libs are happy as can be, and the process works as it should. Whenever a liberal loses an election, there are screams of foul play, tampering with the vote, so on and so forth. I do not claim to be able to predict the future, but I suspect if Obama loses, the race riots of the 60s will seem like Sunday School picnics compared to what will happen.

It galls me that I took a cyber-beating for being a tin-foil hat racist on another thread for daring to mention this threat.

That was my first thought when I heard about them doing that. Don't forget that we Will have Russian war ships off Cuba supposedly in Nov as well. God I have to get my tinfoil hat back from the scrap yard.... I knew I shouldn't have scraped it to pay for gas..... Things are gearing up to be really interesting in the next couple of weeks.

Further consider what would happen if Berg wins his court case and gets BO disqualified!!!! Civil unrest will surpass the riots of the past. The whole septic system wil hit the fan.
