    Not bad, I'd edit down to #10 and 11. The only two really good shots. Try taking your flash off camera (SC17 or wireless TTL with the SB-800's) to defeat the glowing tape on the turnout gear.

    Flash... long story there. My sb-800 is at nikon and I'm using a inexpensive old manual unit. I just grabbed some gear and went since the fire was on the other side of town. You have to get there fast to get pictures of flames...
