Does it exist? A friend of mine is wanting to start this to keep people informed about the different gun laws on a state-to-state basis while traveling.

I need to fix the thread title and the main thread...basically, my buddy is trying to set up a site so that people can visit the site, put in what license/permits they have, what state they want to travel to and then have it list whether or not it's possible, the restrictions and such.

Agreed--it's a nice little tool.

My only gripe with it is the use of the words "concealed" and "permit." I think this leaves out important, relevant carry information for people planning trips. For example, an individual traveling to Virginia with no license or permit won't know that neither is required to open carry in Virginia if their only source of information is that tool.

I messaged the site owners to suggest that a future version include some provisions.
