Ithaca model 37 DS police Special
This shotgun is in 12 guage and it has never been fired. Does anyone know anything about this shotgun, such as how well they are made, how much they are worth, how many of them were made and what years they were made.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

Re: Ithaca model 37 DS police Special
Dunno about the value and stats but 37's are nice shotguns. Some complain about the single slide action bar but I've never heard of any issues.
Very light weight for a steel receiver.

Re: Ithaca model 37 DS police Special
I have an 870 and a 37. I like the 37 better, It's action is smoother than the 870 and mounts better (for me). I beleive the police versions don't use a magazine disconnect. Hold the trigger down and it will fire each time that you pump it.
I vote the second first
