Does flip down red dot sight exists?
Does flip down red dot sight exists? Like a flip down iron sight. How about red dot sight WITHOUT batteries? Maybe like ACOG sight. Thank you.

Not to be a wise ass. But how exactly would you have a red dot that doesnt use batteries? Only thing I can imagine is maybe a fold to the side, similar to the magnifiers, but thats not going to hold a very good zero.
You may find me dead in a ditch one day. But by God, I'll be lying in a pile of brass.

Re: Does flip down red dot sight exists?
I may be missing the mark here, but my impression from your question is that you want to be able to lower the sight to be able to use your BUIS. Assuming you're using a reflex style red dot sight, why not just use slightly a taller set of BUIS that allow you to co-witness through the sight when it's turned off. Anything else, and I will have to agree with JStems, it's going to be hard if not impossible to maintain zero.

The Trijicon® Reflex would be a non-battery powered reflex sight.
