.380 Carry.... HP or Ball? (POLL)

Well, which would you/do you prefer for .380 carry ammo.

HP or Ball?

Please chime in and comment with what you actually do/would carry.

I don't carry a .380 but my wife does . She carries Hornady critical defense .

My wife carries my SW380. She carries Buffalo Bore 88gr JHP.

Although I think it is close damage vs. penetration, I carry ball for the penetration. Typically my .380 is only used as a BUG.

I use PowRBall in both of my p3at's. I hope to never have to find out how well it works in the real world.

I use ball ammo for the penetration but if I could find enough to test and practice with I would use Hornady Critical Defense. My .380 is an "always" gun and if at all possible I have a 9mm with hollow points.

With winter coming and the heavy outer garments we will switch to ball. We are willing to trade a little expansion for penetration.

I carry ball in my P3AT, although I might carry HydraShoks if I can find enough to ensure function.
