I wouldn't want to. One drop with all that weight in there and that jug will split wide open, you'll have shells everywhere.

Carefully stacked, you can fit about 220 12gauge shells in a .50cal ammo can, and it won't break if you drop it.

all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Plus, how would you fit it to your semi-automatic shotgun?

I was thinking of that and well I don't want to drop it to find out ..... But hit it a few times hard into my hand and it seemed solid when filled but not so good if it's only 3/4 filled .

Fill the milk jug with water which should be a little over 8lbs. Drop it on one of it's corners from 3 feet onto concrete, I bet it'll split open.

Best use for milk jugs is to fill with water and shoot.
Gives a new shooter a big ole grin.
