Re: E O Tech 512
i love my EOTech 512.
i love the reticle. i've banged it around a good bit and it has not faltered.
the only think i don't like about it is that it automatically turns itself off after 4 or 8 hours (depending on how you turn it on). i would rather it had an option to keep it on all the time like the aimpoints do.
it also does go through batteries much faster than an aimpoint (but that only means the EOTech's batteries only last for months instead of years), but i don't really care about that.
at any rate, you are really gonna like it.

I love mine, and using AA batteries is so much nicer.

EO Tech is good to go! A friend of mine just picked one up yesterday. We're going to try it out today. How about the Trijicon Acog? I know they're both great optics i guess the tri is a 4x and also another $500 more lol.

Re: E O Tech 512
the ACOG is a great scope - totaly diferent intent here , yes its magnified
and no - not 500 more - more like "more than the rifle" but well worth it
