Delaware County Field & Stream Important Notice
Members and non members alike, even those who may have a problem with some of their rules .... there will be a zoning hearing on Monday, October 22, 2012 on whether or not to allow a developer to build a "cluster subdivision" along the property line of the DCFS trap and air-gun ranges.
Please come out help to preserve and support one of Delaware County's few outdoor ranges by voicing your opposition to the proposal.

Re: Delaware County Field & Stream Important Notice
As I see it, the main concern should be traffic on Creek Road. Both ends of this road are already dangerous. Add Linville traffic in October and it's a nightmare at Knowlton Road. I am a township resident and have standing, so I will definitely be there.
EDIT; CONGRATULATIONS on your 5000th post!!!!!!!!!!Last edited by thundrr1; October 16th, 2012 at 06:15 PM.

Yea turning left onto Creek Road from Knowlton is cross your fingers and step on the gas.
I would think the MAIN concern for the club is not traffic though, but rather putting houses so close to the borders of the ranges, next thing ya know those folks are trying to shut down the club. Kind of like how people who move next to an airport want the planes to stop flying over their house.

Re: Delaware County Field & Stream Important Notice
What can happen if they did build,Neighbors complaining about the noise?
The assholes that bought houses near the mushroom farms in kennet complained about the smell. They tried to have the farms shut down. Assholes..
What im getting at, dont buy a house near a gun range if you dont like the noise, PERIOD.
I wish your club lots of luck, looks like its going to be an uphill battle.

Oh i hear ya. Thats why i said its going to be an uphill battle.. Do you actually think the township will turn down revenue (taxes) ? HELL NO. Its money for those grubby bastards. You guys better be strong, (in numbers also). My gut tells me your in for a really big fight. Ive seen it before.
EDIT: Can non members/residents attend and have say in the matter?
