Looking for law info regarding...

I'm looking for the specific law regarding hunting with combo guns, drillings...things of that nature.
Rule of thumb IIRC was you could hunt with a combo but you could only carry one or the other caliber ammo with you while engaged in hunting. IMO, that's stupid.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of law that supports this?
I'm seem to remember something like that somewhere, just can't locate it.

I've never heard of anything like that and I have never seen anywhere that it is prohibited. Perhaps in certain seasons such as spring turkey where you are not allowed to use a rifle you could only load the shotgun barrel.

I don't remember if was a certain season or not.
I just thought there was something somewhere prohibiting combo guns.

They have a viewable PA game code that you can search on.
If theres no law against it then I would believe that the activity is not illegal.

I dont see anything specific to double drillings,
carrying single projectile ammunition in spring gobbler is prohibited though,

I found it this morning and it had everything to do with Turkey season.

Rifle/shotgun combination guns may
be used if ammunition is limited to shotgun shells. Carrying or using
single-projectile ammunition, rifles or handguns is unlawful.
