First neg. encounter at Wegman's
I went shopping at Wegman's today OC'ing my 27 Glock in a Serpa. After being in the store for at least 20 minutes and interacting with several employees, this guy about forty years old scurries around me and my cart on my weak side. As he's passing me he says," that's a pretty dangerous thing you have on your hip, you shouldn't have that in here". I replied,"actually it's very safe there". Now he's about eight feet in front of me and he stops to say,"there's a lot of children in here". I replied, "it's still very safe there", as he scurried down the isle with his little cart. I saw him watching me from a half isle away twice then he disappeared. I was in the store for about 20 more minutes until I got to checkout. I expected cops or at least a manager to confront me but nothing else happened. I checked out my $120 of merchandise and carted it down to the end of the lot where I always utilize and end space for my four door F 150.
The older I get, the better I used to be.

Which Wegmans were you at? Tilghman or the one off 512? Ive OC's in Tilghman several times (both VERY casual and in business attire) with no issues.

"Sir! I strongly suggest you keep those children in the store. They are 6,800% safer in here than they are out on the street with you in a car. In fact you should sell your car and turn in your drivers license "

It appears that the liberal brainwashing is working. "Guns are bad. Guns are bad......" Lather, rinse, repeat.
It's funny, if you confront them with logic and fact, they get all tweaked out. Their brains can't handle it for some reason. Good job.Soap Box - Worn out : Ballot Box - Broken : Jury Box - Pending : Ammunition Box - Unknown

Re: First neg. encounter at Wegman's
I was on Tilghman. I've been OC'ing there since T shirt weather arrived. I go there every 7 to 14 days depending on what I run out of or if I'm entertaining guests. Between winter and summer I wore a short wind breaker that rides up over part of the rig when ever I reach up for something. At 5'6" I reach up a lot. I've been carrying like that all over the LV and this is the first time anyone said anything. This guy didn't want to have a conversation. he just wanted me to know he didn't like it.
The older I get, the better I used to be.
