Some may call it a gimmick gun, but I think it's hardcore awesome. Congrats on your purchase, and post some pics!

    Congrats on your purchase..
    I love mine...
If a weapons ban goes into affect, it will surely knock that pistol right off the civilian market. So I believe it is a good investment.
The only down side is the ammo... Who knows how long it will be available, or how much more expensive it will get.. I have a good amount stocked.

I originally purchased it for the cool factor, but I really love the gun..
It is an absolute pleasure to shoot, recoils like a .22 pistol and is extremely accurate.
I also have a few 10rd mag extensions, giving the mag a 30rd capacity.

Come on! Look at this thing and tell me it isn't way cool..

I like mine also. Bought it for the cool factor. I think its going to be a good investment if things go south. Probably decent as a self defense gun with civilian ammo, but would be awesome with the police only ammo.

    what model did you get?

    here's mine:

it's easy to shoot, uncomplicated in function, and very accurate.

    little large for concealment.

i looked at one when they fitst came out. I love the round but was kind of disapointed with the pistol. It didnt seem very welldesigned for the price. If i remember correctly there were a lot of gaps and spaces in the frame. I wish glock made a 5.7.

it goes bang every time and puts a hole in the target every time. it holds 20 rounds, and they are easy to put right where you want them.

Great pistols. I have owned one for a few years now. I do carry it occasionally. It is a full-sized gun but the weight saves it. Loaded, it only weighs 26 ounces - as much as my six shot Glock 36. I carry it COB and IWB.
It has the accuracy out of the box that shooters pay serious money for in a custom gun. It is so accurate at 100 yards that I think of it as a varmint gun in pistol form.
Take a look at the ammo selections from Elite Ammunition. Some of their loads are equivalent to 115gr. 9mm loads, except that you have 20 or more in a 5-7 and little recoil.

We are talking about the velocity of a rifle round of over 2000 fps, coming from a lightweight concealable pistol..
It may not make very big holes, but it makes them very fast..
That is very impressive it you ask me.

I guess as an investment that depends on what you paid for it. I would say that they are probably a little like Desert Eagles. They may not be very practical or useful as a gun for CC/SD, but people are always going to want them for the cool factor, and there aren't a ton in circulation, so the law of supply and demand should work in your favor. I don't really see a hi-cap gun made by FNH going down in value.

On the other hand, I never really buy guns for the "investment". I say as long as you enjoy shooting it and can afford the ammo, that's what counts.
