Under the Knife today
I'm having surgery today.
There going to fuse the bones together in my foot and take a bone graft from my thigh. I'll be in the hospital overnight for safety precautions I guess.
I'll be non-weight bearing for 10 weeks and then will under go rehabilitation therapy for 4 -6 months after that.
I stocked the freezer with as much food as possible so as not to be a burden on others.
I also bought a laptop so I can stay on the Internet.
Well my ride is here, hopefully I'll be back on line tomorrow.http://www.slcfsa.com/index.html

Re: Under the Knife today
sounds almost exactly like what my sister had done except she has a cadavar bone in her foot.. Best of luck to you, it is a bitch and a half of a procedure and the recovery time is crazy, she basically crawled around for 3months. But it is well worth it she's back to doing everything she wasnt able to do for a long time, and pain free.

Good luck, sounds like a fairly routine procedure. See you on the boards soon.
