Senator warns White House on possible vet insurance plan

WASHINGTON (CNN) - Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki confirmed Tuesday that the Obama administration is considering a controversial plan to make veterans pay for treatment of service-related injuries with private insurance, but was told by lawmakers that it would be "dead on arrival" if sent to Congress.

It has only taken 50 days for congress to discover that Obama has no spine and even less leadership ability. So, they will dictate to the President what is and is not going to happen.

Reagan would never have let them get away with this crap. Just because they have it right this time doesn't make it right.

Reagan let them get away with a whole lot of crap, can we say FOPA? Or War on Drugs? I know the WoD was started under Nixon, but really Reagan wasn't the greatest thing since sliced bread.

We need to get past the reverence of Reagan and get to real conservatism/classical liberalism where the citizens rights trump the States/Federal privileges period.
