Speer gold dot gallon jug test

I wanted to test these out for a while and finally went out and shoot a couple rounds into gallon jugs filled with water, I didnt think the first time it would make it through 4 jugs but it did, then I set up 5 jugs the 5th jug stopped it and I found then in the bottom of it. it amazing how much damage one bullet can do, people say 9mm dont have power, ill tell you want I sure wouldnt want to get hit by one of them, when I shot the jugs I had thread on caps on all of the jugs it popped a couple of them off just from the pressure inside there. heres a couple of pics.

I carry the 124grain +p gold dot short barrel in my XDSC9. I wonder how they comare out of the 3inch barrel against the regular +p or the hydrashock+p+. I wonder if clever marketing has got me, or if there really is a difference in the "short barrel" round.

Ehh... milk jugs, phone books, ballistic gelatin... guesswork at best.

Why don't the ammo companies get to test their products on death row inmates? (I feel much the same way in regards to "animal testing")
