Regional Mailing List
Anyone want to be on a range-trip mailing list?
Say, for example, I'm gonna head out to the range, would anyone want to receive an email saying "blah blah blah, xx/xx/xxxx @ xx:xx am/pm" and whoever shows, shows?
If you're interested, PM your preferred email address. I'm not gonna make a big to-do out of it like last weekend (which freaking rocked!) but just someone to go plinking with for a bit.
Also, I won't spam the list for anything except last minute range trips. I'll use the forum and PM for putting something bigger together.
BTW, we should do crap like last weekend once a month or so."Because I'm an American." - MtnJack

Re: Regional Mailing List
So, you're looking for a more intimate get together?
Are we talking dinner and candles afterward?
Actually that's a good idea!
Organizing a large get-together can be time consuming and it's tough to get everyone together at the same time.
I'll certainly send you my e-mail for this purpose.
Last weekend was AWESOME! (well, the shooting part was... the leaking hot water tank greeting me at home sucked!)
Once a month would be great. Once every other month would work too and may be easier to gather a larger group.
Either way, I look forward to shooting with my new friends form this wonderful forum!I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Emptymag, as much as I would hate to go through this, I will just because I think your a good guy. Seems to me you have 2 main concerns here. Water and guns. As it seems they both are linked in some obscure way, I am willing to try and help you out.
Yes I am willing to go the extra mile to try and help you here. And it seems that your guns attract water... So when ever you want to give me all your guns, I will take the burden upon my self to help you out so your home can remain drip free.
By removing the guns from your posession, you will no longer have a drip problem. Your life will seem that much simpler. You heard the commercial, dont go to bed with that drip tonight!
I realize this could cause my own home to become a drip haven, but what else can I do for a friend
A very concerned friend. Besides I hate guns rusting. Seems to me they need a drip proof place to live!Skeet is a sport where you are better to hit half of each bird then completely blast one and miss the other completely.
The choice is yours, place your faith in the court system and 12 of your peers, or carried away by 6 friends.

Hmmmm... you may be onto something there! The toilet didn't sound like it flushed properly this morning...
Send your e-mail to TheHighChild so we can get together. I will need to screen any prospective "caretakers" for my babies.
HighChild, put that thing back in your pants - you're not getting my Pony! You have enough children to feed!I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: Regional Mailing List
The only thing that really sucks is that PMSC members can only bring one guest. The more members, the more guests. So we may have a few rough patches at first (e.g. I want to go and 2 non-members want to go and we can't find a 2nd member).
Any thoughts on this? I know we have a lot of PMSC members on here, at least 6...I think but I highly doubt we'll get the turnout ratio or close to it like last weekend.
We can always play it by ear. I'll be sure and send out my mobile number in any emails I send out."Because I'm an American." - MtnJack

Re: Regional Mailing List
Well, just like when I took you as a guest...
they will all "join the club" and it will no longer be a problem!
Kidding.
I guess Roland would be the "go to" guy regarding those concerns.
Keep it in mind, but don't sweat it. You'll likely find at least one of us who can join you.
It would be nice to visit other member's clubs as well.
Nothing says this has to be a PMSC only thing!
I, for one, would love to visit Vince (Bloomautomatic) at his club one of these days. http://www.bloomautomatic.com/lbscI called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: Regional Mailing List
I'd like to check it out. We should for the next big get-together. It's kind of a hike for me, probably about an hour drive, maybe more. I'll make the drive for a get-together but probably not for a quick plinking session. PMSC is kind of a hike, too but at least I know the way! I'm a manic city driver.
