Default This is cool: How to hide an aircraft plant During WWII

Lockheed During WW.II (unbelievable 1940s pictures)

During World War II the Army Corps of Engineers needed to hide the Lockheed Burbank Aircraft Plant to protect it from Japanese air attack. They covered it with camouflage netting to make it look like a rural subdivision from the air.

Thanks, man. How did you find these? The pictures are great. Do you have any links to the back story and such?

    Thanks again,

My High School American History teacher showed us those exact same pictures one day in class. I thought that was cool as hell.
