I think #5 is the main reason. Most people can't be trusted.

Why would they think most people can't be trusted? Its because the company they keep can't be trusted. They know they are doing us dirty and that makes them paranoid. So the reason they need to disarm us quickly is because they have a guilty concious. If they didn't feel guilty they wouldn't be scared. If they weren't scared they would have no fear to walk among us.

Great post. you are right. I am so concerned about my freedom and this overpowered government, but the sheeple seem not to mind. My friends and family think I am an alarmist and over-reacting. 1. We must get rid of guns because a deranged lunatic may go on a shooting spree at any time and anyone who would own a gun out of fear of such a lunatic is paranoid.

Ummmmm.........what? If carrying a firearm to defend yourself against a deranged lunatic makes you paranoid, then wanting to ban them due to the possibilities of a deranged lunatic, would proportionately be on the same level of paranoid.
