Default How to clean the Shotgun

Just wondering how you guys clean your Shotgun. Remington 870 is the shotgun in question. Manual shows the disassemble then what to clean. Do you guys disassemble your Shotgun when you clean it every time or is that not necessary. The manual is just very vague at best and i want to know the best way to do this. I would like to do this before it gets taken out?

just clean the barrel. every once in awhile take the bolt out and hose it down with break cleaner, blow it off with a air compressor and lube it up... they are a pretty solid shotgun. get em dirty and they still work... i have two, one standard and one is a police magnum, thats what i shot my buck with last week..

    I use the super absorbant.
You have to expand them a little before you use them.

Why because you use them or keep putting them back when you are done using them?
