    Default PT140

I shot my PT 140 today and I have to say not very impressed with it. It shot well, but the trigger slack that you have to make up is very great. Is that normal or can I send it back to Taurus to have the trigger adjusted?

I did pick up a SW40VE with 3 mags and nite sights (brand new) for 299, will be breaking that in tomorrow night.

That long trigger pull is normal for that model.

Do you have the PT140 Pro or the older PT140?

EDIT:: No it does not suck.... It's just different from other pistols. I have the full size PT 24/7 Pro in .45acp. I don't have any issues with the trigger.

After I put about 100 rounds through it I'll switch to my S&W 686 which has a real touchy trigger and that takes awhile to get used to. I got to say I shoot real well with the 45 and not 1 problem with it at all.
