The Chinese take feedback SERIOUS!
Bought a $5 usb hub off e-bay. Started getting spam about extended warranty pricing on the same $5 usb hub.
So I gave a negative feedback becuase they spammed me.
Just got off the phone from a lady in China apologizing and asking me to remove the negative feedback.
DAMN!
Say what you will about the ChiComs.... they are going to wipe the floor with us unless we get our act together. I had to cost more to make that call than they made off the sale.

Re: The Chinese take feedback SERIOUS!
In truth, I would have paid MORE to order from someone stateside... just to prevent handing over ANY information to anyone outside the country. They can't spam you without your e-mail address. They can't call you without your phone number. That alone* makes spending $20 at Staples sound better to me than spending $5 in a foreign land.
*That... and having a place to which I can return something, if need be.

Yeah, if Obama want's to do something cutting edge and stimulative to the economy, how about a "SHIT QUALITY TARIFF." If a certain device is found to hit a certain number of complaints, the business will be forced to pay all profits in the form of a Shit Quality Tariff. That would pretty much stop all that NcStar product and 90% of the stuff from WalMart.
Proceeds of the tariff get pooled. When you buy American products you get a ticket for every $100 in American goods you buy. You send your tickets in to claim a portion of the tariff. Stimulus what?????"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of 'liberalism,' they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."

I bought a Puma jacket off Ebay from China once. It came, it was of course a knockoff. I sent it back and eventually got my money back.
I left neg feedback "sells bad knockoffs"
The seller actually tried to bribe me, more than the cost of the item, to remove the feedback !

The ChiCom hackers can get your data if they want it. Do you think the bean counters at Staples are spending the amount of $ needed to protect your data? HAHHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA I work in IT at a Forbes Top 50 corp and most of that stuff is outsourced.
So you would pay $20 for a part that is about $1 just so you can feel good about returning it. Actually $21.20.. gotta pay the gubment for the privilege of buying something.
