Default Civilian AK-12 Coming to the U.S. in 2013?

    http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2...-and-12-gauge/

What are the chances of their importation being approved by BATFEces? I'd be interested in one, though it's a shame they won't come in 5.45x39.

Glock USA, FN USA, HK USA, SIG USA, Izhmash USA?

If that were to happen (as it should) - problem solved.

Maybe I'm missing something but what's the difference between that and the Saiga?

The Saigas are watered down AKs marketed as "sporting rifles". No pistol grip, muzzle break, hi-cap magazines, etc. From the illustrations these appear to just be semi-auto versions of the AK-12, which is going to be Russia's new primary infantry weapon. So they would already have all of the features of the military rifle, just in semi auto.

Perhaps it's the entire second firearm mounted under the rifle?

now that we're stuck with nobama for another 4 years the chances are slim to none.
