    Default Nice experience with Keltec

So I finally picked up a Keltec Sub2000 the other week from a forum member. It was a metal mag version in Smith and Wesson. I needed to change out the catch to accept the Sig mag (which also accepts CZ75 mags).

I contacted the company via email on a Saturday asking if I could purchase the parts needed to make the change. Early on Monday, I received an email from a customer service rep saying if I just sent them my contact info they would send me the part no charge.

Well, I got the part today, and now my rifle and pistol use the same mags. Awesome. It may not have been a big part, or very expensive, but I gladly would have gave them 20-30 bucks for it. But they just offered to send it free. I just really appreciated the service and thought I should tell somebody!

I've been eyeballing some Kel Tec equipment, that's really good to hear they were helpful!

Too bad their website's "Contact Us" section doesn't have anything for positive feedback, unless you classify it as "General"

They fixed my P11 for free when it was my stupid that broke it.

I'm saving up for my next kel-tec.

That's funny. They have "complaint" but no "compliment". Are they expecting complaints and not compliments?

Submit a complaint that there's no compliment option.

As of right now Kel TEC isn't winning me over with their customer service.

I sent an email to the on 12/29/12 no response to date. Just sent the another via their contact form. Will wait on a response.

I also called them. Waited a good 20 minutes for someone to answer. In my mind that's excessive wait time. It's just a little past 10:10 after I got off the phone with them.

The guy said my primer strike were not bad. They are for the most part off center. And he said the excessive cratering isn't an issue until it punches through or pops the primer out.

I'm not totally happy with those responses.

    No other pistol I've owned had these issues. I had a S.A. XDm9 & a BERSA Thunder 380.

It certainly can't be due to lack of practice or experience.
