AR Lower Receiver Help
I've spent alot of time looking over lowers, however now I would like to find a Blank lower, that I can engrave.
Does anyone know where I can get a blank lower, without trades?
I have been able to find 1, JC Weaponry. Other then that, I can't find anything, does anyone know a manuf. who creates a blank lower?
Thanks!

Re: AR Lower Receiver Help
You will have to buy a 80% receiver. Keep in mind that if you do that, you will still have to mill/drill out areas on that receiver. So the 80% ~$140 plus the jig ~$100 ... your paying quite the premium for your own markings. BTW, you will still have to send the lower out to get coated.

Re: AR Lower Receiver Help
Blank I mean a lower void of trademarks. As in no deer on a stag, no horse on a colt, etc etc. I understand that the caliber and manuf. Name have to be on it but I would like to engrave my own tradmarks on the left side of the mag well instead of the right. Like I said ice only found 1 "tradeless/logo free" lower and was wondeing if anyone else made them?
Thanks!
Edit: The tradeless lower I found was created by mega, and it does not have the "atom" on the left side magwell

Re: AR Lower Receiver Help
i made one from a forging that was a solid blank of aluminum with exterior shaping complete. milling time was about 4 hours. the blank was $20 from DSA, but that was some years ago. i know a fellow who made one from aluminum plates and bolted it together. he could have welded it together with TIG for a cleaner appearance, but he figured that on a tinker-toy rifle it should be bolted. i know another fellow who made one from steel sheet with a bit of shaping and welding.

Re: AR Lower Receiver Help
You might try Sonju Industrial, I'm not at home right now so I can't look at one, but IIRC it just has their name, s/n and caliber on it. You can also get CNC'd billet lowers from them. I think I still have 2 up for sale (billet lowers).
