Need a range recommendation in Bucks/Northampton counties
Hi,
I live in Telford and work in Bethlehem so i'm looking for a range in the middle somewhere but can't get enough info on the ones I'm looking into. Maybe you guys can help. I'm looking for a place with both indoor and outdoor ranges; trap would be a plus. I'm looking into Ridge & Valley, LeniLenape in Boyertown and Hellertown Sportsmen. I'd welcome your input and recommendations.
Thanks

Rige and Valley is nice but does not have an indoor range. For membership you need to attend a meeting on the third Wednesday of the month at 8pm.

Miles,
If you know someone that is a member at R&V you can go as a guest, and probably get an application from a range officer. You can also request an application by mail.
Ridge and Valley Rod and Gun Club
P.O. Box 2
Coopersburg, PA 18036
I love R&V because it's empty during the day, and when the weather is bad.
And I believe they do have trap (BYO).
If you know someone that is a member, tag along and check it out, if not, go to the meeting as GKgas suggested.

Re: Need a range recommendation in Bucks/Northampton counties
I officially joined last night. People really like to smoke there. I'm no smoke nazi (i used to be a smoker) but I felt like smoking was almost a requirement for membership. No big deal though.
With the new homes coming into the area I hope the club is still there in two years.
Does anyone know if you can use the trap area on days other than Mondays if you have your own thrower and clays?
By they way, do they serve beer in the clubhouse?

Langhorne Rod & Gun - They have it all, trap, skeet, 100 & 200 yard ranges... indoor archery... outdoor archery, I can't think of everything... I'm joining in the spring myself.
