What's your best buy lately with pics
I will start off this thread with a Smith and wesson 19-3, It's a 357 magnum target model in fine condition which I found at a local shop for $199.99, A brilliant shooter that proves the right place/right time statement,
If I didnt buy it I am sure it would have gone in a matter of minutes, Sales guy said it was in cabinet for about 15 minutes before I got there, I got there 15 min after they opened.
LETS SEE SOME PICS OF YOUR BEST BUY LATELY!!!
Peter.

Re: What's your best buy lately with pics
Most of my guns have been decent purchases, but the best was probably this...
HK USP .45 compact, only a couple hundred rounds through it, with night sites for $500 OUT THE DOOR. It was on consignment at Classic Pistol
I also got 3 complete, brand new STAGS for $1000 cash which was another killer deal, but almost 2 years ago.

How does FREE sound! LOL
Yep, I got this 8" Colt Anaconda from my folks last Christmas. But to keep with the good deal aspect, they got a heck of a deal on it from a private seller.

I got this one with a third magazine and new-in-the-pack Meprolights for $450 below market value for its condition.
I initially thought about flipping it and installing the Meprolights on my M8, but it's such a sweet shooter, it's definitely a keeper.

RocketFoot, I've always admire your photo skills. Especialy how you can bring detail to stand out with black gun...
what equipment do you use?
All my guns are best buy to certain extent.
But If I have to pick which was the THE best buy, I have to say is my Smith&Wesson Model 65 .357magnum.
I paid $299 for it. It was local sherif's backup gun for the longest time, and its about most dependable gun you can buy.
I mean if there is ammo in the gun, it WILL go bang each time you pull the trigger. NEVER fails. Not to mention gave me a chance to be friend with local sherif, and thats priceless!
Another great buy is my Charles Daly HP.
paid $319 NIB. I did have initial issues with the gun, and it needed to be sent back, but after that, its just a one sweet shooter.
eats everything - cheap, expensive, FMJ, HP, Lead ball, and eject eachtime with great accuracy. I believe my HP is just as nice shooter as any so called "real" HP out there, but I did not pay nowhere near as much for it.

Ruger 10/22 - $150 and about another $100 in misc toys (some not pictured)
Put together:
And a Glock 23 with mepro NS - $525 out the door
Then I proceeded to purchase:
LWD 40-9 conversion barrel, 4x 15rd 9mm mags, 1x 33rd 9mm mag, and a bunch of misc other toys for it.
(pics coming soon)Zone1
My Glock does 1d6+3 dmg, but my 18 dex makes up for that...
