My Bf and I are looking to take a short trip to do in Italy, does anyone have any suggestions for the Must see kinds of things?

We went a while back and my memory isn't perfect. Rome was nice, some decent food. The country is beautiful so take a few trips. Florence was touristy by day and crazy by night. The food was amazing, the people seemed cool, very laid back. Driving in Rome will induce involuntary bowel movements.

That depends on where you are going. I have been to Italy several times in the Navy. Went to Naples and Trieste, was also in Sicily for a few days. I suggest Rome also, beautiful there and a lot to see. I agree with Tequila Sunrise and Joe Smith about the women, but I know you are a female and going with the BF, so that's probably not of much interest to you. lol

Gotta agree there too. When I was there we took a cab, and HOLY SH!T!!!, they are crazy, and being from NY and saying that. 60 mph through alleys that are barely 2 inches wider than the car, hardly slowing down if someone is even walking in the alley too.

But, if you get the chance, I highly suggest Rome. Have fun and take pics. That is my only regret, I didn't take any pics. Stupid, drunken sailor!! But it was still fun.

One thing to watch out for is property crime in larger cities. They have these properly organized figli di puttane called scippatori that can really put a hurting on you.
