I'm scared now more then ever
Did anyone watch the debate tonight. Any gun owner and especially a gun owner in Pa should be very scared of either one wining the President office.
Both supported Nutter and Phila's right to set it's own gun laws

Yeah, completely ridiculous. Obama said there should be restrictions on the second amendment.

The restrictions should come in form of criminal charges and should be for politicians like himself who see fit to govern outside of the framework they are given as BOUNDARIES for governing. I'm thinking a nice 10 + year federal prison term would discourage lawmakers from working outside the US Constitution.

The problem is that this will not see air time on the major networks as it goes along with their anti-gun views.

Re: I'm scared now more then ever
Our government has become increasingly inimical to any ability on the part of its constituent citizens to resist the possibility of tyranny. Next year this time could see a very different US -- just imagine things like Nutter did on a national scale. Consider the possible outcome of D.C. v. Heller, and a defiant Obama disregarding SCOTUS and the Constitution in order to disarm us.
Buy it cheap, stack it deep. It used to sound really silly to me, but it doesn't any more.

Well we may(do very strongly) disagree with these individuals and their polical veiw, we should not be wishing or advicating anything bad(other than losing the election) to them.

Note that threats, even suggestive, are not acceptable.
The infractions given for such,(above)resulted in a "time out" ban for those members.
It is not a permanent ban.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: I'm scared now more then ever
FWIW: I also visit a liberal Democrat forum, where a current poll show nearly 70% of respondants are AGAINST "gun control" legislation, and most have LTC's.
It's a matter of trying to get the candidates to shut up and listen to the "regular people".
Philadelphia is so crazy because of many years of uncontrolled drug/gang culture, and lots of money from those two sources going to local government.
Worth noting that Phila DA Abraham REFUSED to enforce the new "laws"
stating she had taken an oath to uphold the State Constitution, and they were unconstitutional.
Nutter knows this, he is looking for a cheap shot by signing these bills and having them overturned. He gets "credit" with locals, gets good press with the antis, nothing changes, and he can blame Harrisburg.
Same policy followed by Rendell when he was Mayor, and John Street when he was whatever it was that he was.
Just my o.
thanks.
