Want too trick out my Glock MD 22!! Suggestions?
Hey guys I would like to trick out my Glock 22. I have seen a lot of the trigger kits on Glockmeister.com and was wondering if anybody has done this to there Glock? Is it worth it? They are very expensive almost as much as I paid for my gun? before I make this investment I would like to know everyone's opinion.

I have a OEM trigger in mine, the only things I changed were the addition of a extended mag release and slide stop. Oh, and a fiber optic front site. At the time of modifications/additions this wasn't a carry gun.

No need for a trigger kit. Don't buy a glock then trick it out like a guatemalan taxi trying to make it into a 1911. Changing factory specs more often than not, will compromise reliability.

Keep it stock except for the sights. Put steel sights on it (non adjustable with nothing that will snag).
Triggers stock is fine
Stay away from extended do dads, mag extensions, lights, lasers, grip sleeves etc, etc.
Learn to shoot the pistol. I'd advise professional training

^^^
It depends. If you want a pistol for playing games nothing beats the 1911 platform.
When it comes to self defense stock rocks. Glock makes some of the finest self defense hand guns we have access to. Extended mag releases and their ilk only serve to cause catastrophic failures in training. On the street, it would be a nightmare.
Leave it alone.Never underestimate the value of early training.

Why not use the trigger setup used in the Glock 34/35 if you're afraid of going "non-stock"?

I agree and carry my work nitrolon daily. I was referring to weapon mounted lights which I have seen fall apart at night in a 3 day class.
A trigger mod I have in my carry guns(32 and 23)is a 3.5 connector with a NY-1 trigger. It increases trigger pull by a lb to lb & a half but trigger reset seems more distinct
I will however have to get used to a big dot rear sight which I'm going to try soon.

Yeah, the insight M3 is notorious for fallin goff guns. I shot thousands of rounds with a surefire X200 on my Glock without a problem.
That being said. Insight has a new SSL-1 light they just debuted, I'm waiting until next year to buy one so they can get the bugs worked out.
