Well played Phillies. Its tough to have to rely on Pedro at this point in his career.

And how can anybody not like Jeter. A-Rod I can see but Jeter is the definition of class.

Keep in mind my main team are the Red Sox. Phillies adopted over the last few years as my NL team. I used to hate Jeter, but over the years I've grudgingly developed respect for him (as have most Sox fans, honestly, though most are still reluctant to admit it). I doubt I'll stop hating A-Rod anytime soon, though.

But can we get back to the main point of this thread? Why the Yankees are evil and their fans suck?

once philly becomes a super-metropolis, we can buy ourselves a world series too! The guys won't even have to gel and be a real team, we can just have a bunch of highly paid individual stars.

Mets fan, but rooting for the Phillies because the NL > AL. Good series though. Too bad the Phillies couldn't guys on base for all them damn solo homeruns.

The celebration was uber lame. The crowd seemed way too quiet for some reason.
