This is truly an amazing animal, he looks more like a small bear than a dog! I bet this dog would make a Pitbull lose control of its bowels in a dog fight. I sure wouldn't want to be anywhere near this mean dog!

btw: I had to put my sweet Rott (at 7 years old she was still just a big puppy) down the day before thanksgiving due to bone cancer so anyone in NWPA have a rott or dog like this for a decent price or free to good home Im listening)

A pack of wolves (3 or 4) will attack the sheep not noticing the Ovcharka, and the dog will throw down with a couple wolves at the same time. The fur is several layers and thick making the wolves teeth unable to reach its flesh. They are loyal to their duty in protecting their flock and family and will stand by and defend through any circumstance. I can't find any anywhere in the US after a 15 min search...but I'm no google master. Saw one breeder in the US that sold em like 2 years ago, thats bout it.

When I got serious dough I'll take a better look!

First breeder I found is in PA. No price at that one but other breeders in the US are charging $1800. Too much for a dog if you ask me.

Life expectancy is low too, 10-11 years I read. I might shell out that much in a few years. I definately agree, its expensive. Thanks for the look
