Post Sold Price When Closing
Am I the only one who gets bugged by people deleting their entire Classifieds post or deleting the price when closing it and declaring it sold? Why not just be transparent and leave the sold @ price for market analysis? It would be helpful for others to look back on.
So from now on when closing my posts I'll leave the pictures and info up, keep the title, mark it closed, and put a note up top in bold that says the item was sold @ $xxx.

Agreed. It would be great way to get an idea of the market value of things for both selling and buying.

Yes, but we are all brothers in arms and we ask low prices and pay higher than asked for, so......

Re: Post Sold Price When Closing
The problem is, months after something is sold, people still message you as if it was never sold. No matter how clear you are in the message that it is gone. So erasing the content is the only really foolproof way.

Re: Post Sold Price When Closing
I'm a bit slow to moving ads that are marked [CLOSED ], or otherwise noted as "sold", "close", etc. I did a cleanup last nite, which took a couple hours. Only getting around to doing this 2-6 times a year.
We move these noted ads to the archive. I also move any ad that is 1year old that hasn't been bumped at that time too.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515, SteveWag
