Anytime. I wish I had a son to teach how to shoot, so for now I just teach my nephew.

Tyler is my wifes 18 year old. We were driving to the Oaks gun show last Sunday and he says he wants to buy a gun. This is the sports minded kid who has only ever shot with his stepDad (me) and the last time had to be 5-6 years ago. We are at the show, and I spy a shotgun I like, and he sees a 9mm he likes. The old wise me says your are too young to buy this 9mm, so I will buy it. And you CAN buy this shotgun, so you pay for the 9mm and I'll pay the amount for the shotgun. I will keep the handgun until you are 21 and then give it to you. Until then We will shoot together. He says"done" and goes to the ATM and gets his own money and gives me enough to buy both. Great kid.

he shoots better than me, my first time at range, today, with my first gun 9mm. i am 59 had the public range all to myself. shot 70,80 rounds last mag of 16 rounds i did not know it but being watched by conservation officer. after last mag walked down range removed my targets walking back picked up my brass when i noticed him had a hunting license which he checked thanked me for removing targets and brass, however warned me about no more than 6 rounds at a time, shame on me for not knowing that, other than that good experience

6 round limits is a bummer, but if you have pre loaded mags, it isn't too much of a drawback at the range. He did shoot well. After we finished and I looked at his gun, the rear site had worked loose, so he did do well in light of that issue. All shots were reasonably center mass at 15 ft.
