every time i bought ammo at dicks the guy behind the counter walks the ammo over to the check out guy. they v never just handed me the ammo.

Maybe he got a bb gun off the shelf. Even if that was the case the news will never put that out there. They'll want it to seem like he was prohibited but still was able to get a gun.

What do you mean? The ammo is on shelves out in the open. You don't need to be handed anything. I would have just picked some up and walked to the register if I wanted to. There are no signs telling customers otherwise. I was there an hour ago actually(another Dicks).
