Thanks for the info you never know when you might need it. case in point there was a gunfight at the inner harbour recently I don't know the whole story. I think some body was shot.
I'd rather be judged by twelve than carried by six!

I do have to conduct business in and around Maryland and Baltimore from time to time, what would a PA resident have to do to be able to get a non-resident LTCF for Maryland, and does it even exist?

Carry permits hardly exist for Maryland resident. And Maryland absolutely does not honor any carry permits from anywhere else. In other words, Fageddaboutit!

Yes, you can, but you need an "angle"(AKA "good cause"). If your buisness in MD involves transporting something of value(cash, jewlery, exc.), or servicing ATMs or something then you do have a legitimate chance. My guess is it would be a restricted permit, good only for when you're there in a work capacity.

Do you fit any of those descriptions?

    MD State Police Link

    http://www.mdsp.org/

Then on the left hand side find "Quick Links" and Click "Firearms/Permits/Licensing"

Here is the PDF from the General Licensing Division. Please note the "ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED PER HANDGUN PERMIT CATEGORY:"

    Go here: http://www.mdsp.org/

and click through the firearms/permits links. You'll get to the PDF file that is the application. The only shot the average citizen has is to be lucky enough to have already been threatened, assaulted, robbed, or raped. Then, the all-powerful MD state government may allow you to partake of the 2nd amendment.

OK, guys... I have to apologize here. While you have been spending most of your lives fighting for 2nd amendment causes, I've been living a blissfully ignorant (albeit unprotected) life. And just 6 months ago I come breezing onto the scene with my new .38 revolver, exercising my right to own, and even carry, a concealed or unconcealed gun. I'm doing what I can, now, though. Seeing this MD application makes me realize how bad it could be. Thanks.
