$45 a box for .45 Target ammo? Are you serious?
Well i just came back from an indoor range that also sells shooter supplies. Needless to say i was curious what they're ammo prices were and asked about 9mm which was $19.99 a box, than i asked about .45 ammo and they said $45 i nearly fell the hell over. Are you kidding me?

Wow...last time I "bought" .45 ammo it was Winchester White Box bulk....100 rounds for $25.
Glad I reload and have a lot of supplies on hand still."Disperse you Rebels! Damn you! Throw down your Arms and Disperse!" British Major Pitcairn at Lexington April 19, 1775

I'm surprised that people are _surprised_ at the pricing during a shortage...
It's not "raping". It'scalled making money.
That's what happens. It's called supply and demand.
I have no problem with it. If the price had not been raised due to decreased supply and increased demand the ammo would not be there to purchase at all._________________________________________

The most effective thing you can do is not buy it. Is it gouging? Of course it is. I say let them choke on it.
I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

I begin to wonder whether or not a silent, invisible hand is squeezing the garden hose shut on itself while some of us shoot our stashes dry.
That would be the easiest thing to do.

I got 2 boxes of wolf .45 for $17 each at midwayusa last week. I've 500 rounds total in .45 and thats all I'll need this shooting season. I'm saving the brass (except the wolf) and sending it to be reloaded over the winter.

IMO this shortage is really letting the shops show their true colors. When, or if, the products become readily available again the shops who kept the same prices will continue to get my business. The ones who drastically raised their prices are history.
