Early morning (negligent) shooting in Montoursville
There is an adage that states something about stupid should hurt, or something to that effect. Well, it often does. The problem is it usually hurts others in the process. Here is one such story. Handling a loaded firearm, drunk at a party, a partygoer catches it in the head and has died.
Be safe (and I have nothing more to say).

It's one of the rules, guns and booze\parties don't mix. Irresponsible, unfortunate and bad for pro gun folks.

I really hate this.
was examining a handgun with the person who was having a birthday, when the weapon went off
It should read "was examining a handgun with the person who was having a birthday, when he accidentally pulled the trigger."

It is phrased like the gun just magically shot itself.
Well then, something else needs to be revised because by that standard it appears the gun magically aimed at the victim's head too.
