I would like to meet some local 1911 fans here in the Philly/montgomery/bucks/chester county area,, I belong to an outdoor club in southern chester county, and would like to meet some others local that get a kick out of some 1911 practice..
Please PM me, or respond here before I set a date at the club

I'll send a PM as well. I'm in Ephrata County, but Chester isn't that far away. I got a 1911 for Christmas and haven't shot it much and would love to get out and put some more rounds through it. Do you have a location set yet? A price to shoot? Time? Bringing food or anything?

I Have to move the day to the 10th (sunday)
Fee for club is $5.00 for the day, You need to bring food and drinks, It is an outdoor facility, 10 miles from rt 202 and 926, I will PM details if you PM me,
Shooting starts at 12 noon, no earlier, and must end by 4pm,
I forgot that the second sat of the month the prison guards train on the shorter ranges, So SUNDAY will work!
The ranges vary from 15 yards to 100 yards, I will be bringing a couple of small cal. rifles to plink on the longer ranges later in the day,
I also usually fool around a bit on the 50 yard range with my 1911s, Sometimes I can even make a mess of a target at 50 yards.
Please PM me your name and # so I can give good directions, The club is a bit hidden,
I can bring 4-5 folks with me as guests,
Again, FIVE big dollars for the day
    Bring targets(paper plates)
    food
    warm clothes
    A bucket load of ammo
    ear protection
and anything you want to shoot(except full auto)
I ran 240 rounds through me Ak this past weekend 8 full mags as quick as I could pull trigger on the 75 yard range this past sun
WOW that sucker gets hot, and not 1 misfeed!
    Peter.

I'll have to check about Sunday. I'd bring a couple of .22s, a 1911 and an XD45 compact.

That's one more reason why I won't be there. It's really nice today, as far as temperature goes, but it's supposed to get nasty this weekend into the beginning of next week. I'll be doing some indoor shooting.

I am thinking that waiting for spring, and a saturday would be better than 28* and snowing,
In the spring we could also BBQ there as well for a good day at the range.
If someone is NEEDING to go, Iwill don the thermals, and meet you there since I started the post.
Otherwise I will wait for the spring, and organize a BBQ range day!
