Default Great deal on a S&W Sigma...

S&W Sigma 9mm and 40's at Buds are $289. delivered with 2 16 round mags. Go to S&W web site and print out the rebate, $50. or 2 16 round mags. That's $239. for a S&W! I have the 9mm and it's my carry gun. Some complain the trigger pull is long and heavy like a DA wheel gun. It gets better with use (you can dry fire these till the cows come home with no problem). I took the $50. because the mags are in short supply because S&W sold 40,000 of these for Afghanistan war. People who got into the last rebate are still waiting.

Actually, the Sigmas are starting to develop a reputation for being quite reliable and certainly worth the low prices being asked these days. The triggers are supposed to be awful but can be cleaned up on the cheap. I personally haven't found a need for one and probably won't but I would rather have an honest citizen who can't afford anything else with a Sigma then nothing at all. My fear would be that if they become too popular they prices will increase. The Stoeger Cougar was very reasonably priced until people realized what a bargain they were and the prices climbed immediately.

To the OP, good luck with your Sigma. Keep us posted on how it is working!

    AJ

my local gun shop always has like two or three of those things on their used shelf, sell them for about $199, which means they buy it from the customer for $140!!! funny how customers will lose all that money just to get rid of it...

Yes, same rebate deal on the M&Ps. I opted for the two mags for my M&P 45 as they seem to be a bit hard to find and pricey.

I'd buy one. Newer ones are quite well built, dependable gun(not to mention not too bad of looking like old one)
I think they pretty much give them away to afgan police or Iraq police(or least I thought I heard that), and if it works for them in area where gun fight are daily occurance, thats good enough for me.
I do believe number of police depts issues them as well

I mean double stack maged semi auto, made in USA with Glock technology that actualy fits my hand.

I take that over Hi-Point any day of the week

I read that the sigma is identical to the glock internally wich is why glock sued them. I read that you can actually switch out the internal between the two and they will work. Me and my buddy Greg took his glock and put his barrel in my sigma and sure enough it ran flawless , we didnt put the sigma barrel in the glock as he was afraid of his baby getting cooties

Which model Glock did he use?

Did he try exchanging the trigger assemblies?
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.
