    Made in Turkey.

    Will take Remington's Rem-Choke tubes.

Very questionable as to if there will be parts around for these guns five to ten years from now....who knows.

They are of decent quality, but by far not the greatest. After looking inside one, I highly doubt they will survive a large number of rounds through them.

Todays semi auto shotguns bring a rather high price. It's hard to find any quality semi for under $650. That said, you should not expect much for less than $400.

If you like the gun, have a budget of under $400, and do not plan to shoot 1,000 rounds per year....it might be the gun for you.

Actually Buckmark, I wanted to get the Berreta A390 that Walmart had for %$529 but when i went there last weekend it were sold, that were a good price for a Berreta.
Maybe i should wait and see if Walmart get another one in.

Is the Charles Daly a Gas or recoil operated? Thank s,

    Gas.

If you have the money and can wait, i'd go with the Beretta no questions asked.

I have one that i have put quite a few rounds through it, from shooting sporting clays, to hunting small game, and turkey hunting. I love mine, never had a problem.

I've heard kind of mixed things about the charles daily. I've heard of alot of lemons and some people that say theirs works fine. I personally would go with the Beretta. If you are looking for a cheaper semi auto shotgun, I have heard quite a few good things about the Stoeger 2000. http://www.stoegerindustries.com/firearms/index.tpl It does say on their website that they use the actual benelli system. They don't have all the features that some of the benelli's do, but I do know for a fact that they are advertising that they use the benelli inertia system. Maybe that will just give you something else to consider in the lower end that I've heard more good things about. Best of luck to ya.

You're welcome man. I know that they're not the best shotguns out there, but I know they definately aren't the worst. I've heard alot of good things about the Stoeger 2000. Some of them were probably exaggerations about how the shotgun was just as good as some high end benelli's, but much cheaper. I've heard lots of other things about how they were great for the money, but still not quite a benelli, and that they recoiled a little harder than a benelli or 1187. Although I've always considered the 1100 and 1187 to be pretty soft recoiling shotguns. Either way I have heard almost no bad things about that shotgun, and I know if it's as reliable and smooth as most people say it is; then it's a good steal for the money. Glad that I could be of some help.
