Most probably know the story of Brian Aitken.

Help me publish my book, take my case to the Supreme Court, and get my son back

I'd like to know what one felony charge remains intact.

I'd also like to know why the NRA-ILA doesn't latch onto this case with some of the money they are forever soliciting for legal battles.

    Illegal transportation of hollowpoints, IIRC.

For a long time it has been assumed that travel with HP's enjoyed the same exemptions as traveling with a handgun. The judge ruled that there was no exemption for hollowpoints when traveling between residences (there is for handguns). Can't imagine this doesn't get overturned on appeal, but not sure where he is in that process. He was/is represented by Evan Nappen.

Moral of the story I took away from it back when it happened was..... when you decide to tell your mom that you are gonna kill yourself, make sure you take your guns out of your car so they can't argue that you are no longer involved in the transport of your guns from home A to home B.

Sad story none the less as to me this was a mental health issue and not a criminal one.

    Greetings,

Can anyone help me understand specifically what is preventing him from seeing his son from a legal perspective? The video at the link provided zero data. Thanks.

    Regards, Jim

PS...........everyone needs to make themselves aware of the potential power of jury nullification:

I just bought his book. More to support him than any interest in the book itself. Let's make this happen!
