That is quite interesting.... I am not sure chambering like that is possible with a standard glock recoil spring. I just spent a few minutes trying to get my G32 to cycle like that.... It didn't work. Must be that my Ninja Skilz are not as strong as this guy.

The needle on my bullshit detector is starting to rise....

Ok after 10 or so minutes of practicing I decided to take a more scientific approach.(slightly more scientific)

    1. I started off pointing the pistol in a safe direction and verified the pistol was clear.

    2. I attempted to get the slide to cycle and was able to get the slide far enough to the rear to set the trigger

    3. I took an empty mag and inserted some "dummy" rounds and repeated the process, again I could get the slide back far enough to set the trigger but not to chamber a round.

I retract my previous post, and agree that this is possible with an appropriate ammount of practice. I will continue to practice and keep you guys updated.

I like it, but I doubt it could be done with standard equipment.

Here it is frame by frame.

It's back into position and you can see by the reflection of the slide it's at an angle.

Here you can see it's been pressed into his breast (for lack of a better term) and shoved forward. The slide is moving.

Slide is released and is going into battery.

It's kinda cool, but I can't see any likely application. It would be faster and more reliable with two hands. If you need to chamber with one hand, use your belt. It's a proven technique. Or even the table in front of you that conveniently has a loaded mag standing up on end.

Cheese and rice. In the G35 with a 13lb spring, there is no way I could get the slide to go full stroke.

I wonder what spring was used.....

I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing. "I wonder how light of a recoil spring he was using." Never played with glocks, but with any pistol, I couldn't this happening unless they had a pretty light spring.

I was thinking maybe it's an old spring, 20k+ rounds?

I haven't even fired 20k rounds total in my life, so maybe lycan or some other more experience shooters could wind in here.

Yeah, but the longest I usually go befoer changing a spring is about 6-7k rounds (in the 2011).

I have an 11lb Glock spring around here. If I have time, I'll try that one.

In the comments for the video, the guy claims it is a standard Glock recoil spring... I practiced this for a while last night and still could not get the slide back far enough to chamber a round.
