Rx glasses
Anyone dealt with bobster prescription ballistic glasses? Been looking all over for a decent pair of rx glasses. I prefer to not ruin my regular glasses or eyes for that matter, so ill spend the money. I'm looking at buying from a company called bobster out of California, just wanted to see if anyone on here had any feedback or other routes to go. Thanks everyone

Re: Rx glasses
Never heard of them. All I know is that Oakley has a Prescription line Exceeds ANSI Z87.1 for optical and impact requirements

Re: Rx glasses
I use Bobster over the glasses sunglasses for riding my motorcycle and they work nicely. They have clear non sunglass lenses for over the glasses.

If you're looking for shooting glasses or work glasses that need impact resistance Polycarbonate or trivex is the lens material you need. I've been wearing glases for 50 years and know a little about them. I wear Polycarbonate lenses in titanium frames (Seiko) I work in a railroad yard and repair shop. and have to have safety glasses and being the self conscious and vain female that I am my glasses not only have to safe they have to look good too. Here's something to read about lenses but the website has a lot good info on lenses, frames, eye health, contacts and a lot more.

Here's another website to look through called Global Vision they have all sorts of sunglasses Rx glasses and such. The name to look for when searching for over the glasses is called OTG, that'll give the most hits.

Re: Rx glasses
I swear by my revision sawflys.
They have come in clear and tinted lenses, with a rx insert. Unlike alot of blastic eye-wear it is clear, without weird curves that distort your vision or cause crazy headaches.
Good says under 50 bucks (of course, the rx insert is going to cost a little)

If you're looking for cheap (inexpensive) prescription glasses that if they scratch you don't mind head over to zennioptical.com. They have glasses starting at around 8 bucks. Great place if you have kids!
