F/S - My POS, overpriced gun with no photos
Am I the only one noticing a significant uptick in every yahoo trying to sell every piece of junk they own (or sometimes not junk), for a laughably high price, and not even bothering to post a photo? (That was a rhetorical question. I can't be the only one.) Are people falling for this?
One recent example: The guy with a Glock 26 for sale, no photo, no price, asking people to send him their highest bid and he would compare it to Gunbroker.
No wonder some people think gun-owners are Neanderthals. I'm starting to think it myself!

Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Re: F/S - My POS, overpriced gun with no photos
It does get annoying but it has been happening forever here. People think you know what a G26 looks like, and know how much they cost new, check on gun broker and find a used price, and then go from there. The problem is that not every gun is the same once it leaves the box, and some sellers don't realize that.
To some people, simple holster wear might be a deal breaker, while to another it means a discount. Not putting pictures on means nothing. I have a Springfield 1903. I could try to sell it, but if I don't tell you that it is rusted to high hell and has some sort of steel plug in the barrel, you aren't going to find out until later. Probably after you've already paid for it or taken time out of your day to look at it.
And yes, I've seen my fair share of over priced guns, but that isn't always the seller's fault. They buy a gun at a crappy gunshop that charges them 500 bucks for a Taurus 24/7, and they try to sell it used for 400 and find out I can order one online brand new for 350, and they get pissed at me for being a low balling jerk. Mainly because they bought a gun and didn't research the prices first, and overpaid in the first place...
